The Borstel is a prehistoric rampart. The mud wall is also recognizable from the entrance on the east side. Likewise the upstream ditch. Inside the wall there is a fine population of older oaks. Almost nobody gets lost here. Unfortunately there is no signage for the protected archaeological monument.

The Borstel is located 1 km south-southwest of Fischheim on a knoll on the high bank of the Zwickauer Mulde just north of a river bend. It comprises an oval area with an area of approx. 200 by 140 m. In front of it are two section walls running from north-west to north to east at a distance of 12 to 15 m. The outer wall has a base width of approx. 4 m and a height of 1 m and is accompanied on the outside to the north by a soil extraction ditch. The ramparts are connected at their eastern end, in the north-west the situation is unclear due to a recent fault. The boundary of the ramparts in the west and south, the steep bank above the Mulde, is a pronounced embankment, which is characterized by rock formations in the south-west; in the south-east, the crest and ramparts are secured by a ditch cut into a creek that drains into a trough.
