Tips
The ponds to the left of the hiking trail are terraced. There is a shelter next to it, so you can take a refreshing footbath. There is a drainpipe at the bottom pond. You can also refresh your face or arms here, which was a relief on my hike due to the high temperatures.

Very nice facility in the middle of the forest on the section between Vesser and Wegscheide, not far from the barbecue area. A shelter with seating is also located right next to the ponds.
