LUCKY MOMENTS: WASSERBURG, UFERPFAD, STEINIGER BERG, AURAGRUND, TIEFENTAL, PROSPECTIVE PASSAGE ON THE ZÖLLERS-BERGThe 12.5 kilometer long Jossgrund circuit begins and ends at the former moated castle in Burgjoss. The mighty castle walls are reminiscent of rattling armor and snorting competition horses. A narrow bank path leads us along the alder-lined river bank through the floodplain. It goes up to the stony mountain, around which the treetops sway. Lush meadows and species-rich juniper heaths follow, the feet circle the Zöllersberg with its open slopes, the views reach deep into the Jossgrund. Along the Jossa it goes over stone footbridges down to the tranquil Burgjoss.

The Spessart trail "Jossgrund-Runde" begins / ends in Burgjoss. A beautiful approx. 12km tour largely above the Jossgrund.
