Because of the mostly difficult or very difficult climbing paths, the Reiffenhausen cliffs are mainly visited by sport climbers. The climbing paths in the main part are among the most important in the Göttingen Forest. The side valley (Valley of the Kings) is one of the best bouldering areas in Lower Saxony.
