The Magdalene Chapel was consecrated on May 25, 1852. It was built out of gratitude because, unlike the neighboring villages, Kirchgandern was spared cholera in 1850.
After the border was drawn, access was no longer permitted because it was in the border area of the GDR. Over time, she and the Way of the Cross were destroyed.
