      The natural stage was created in an abandoned sandstone quarry on the Wehelitzer Berg in Trebgast. It was played in its current form for the first time in 1953 and since then the Trebgast Summer Games have been held there every year without interruption. The whole thing is supported by the Naturbühne Trebgast e.V. association and it is subject to voluntary work. This stage is played exclusively by amateur actors from the region, who have already brought it close to a professional theater.
