In a small valley west of Lichtenhagen, the path leads past a cascade of six small reservoirs. In the uppermost pond there is an approx. 1 meter high boundary stone. The ponds used to be used for flax rotting. Flax bundles were soaked here for the extraction of plant fibers - the flax rotting. Because of the smell and for reasons of hygiene, this had to be done outside and below built-up areas.
