The church of Uichteritz is a single-nave hall church with a western stone tower and a polygonal chancel. The building, constructed of uniform ashlar quarry stone masonry, is arguably one of the most beautiful and oldest churches in the Weißenfels district. Its exact origins are unknown, but the late Romantic side entrances, in particular, point to the 13th century. Significant structural elements from this period, such as the tower, baptismal font, and altar table with refectory and reliquary, have survived. The following exhibits must also be attributed to the Baroque period: a lectionary with an angel's head from 1698, a wooden crucifix from around 1650, and a human-sized wooden baptismal angel, kneeling in a red robe, from the same period.
