A path that has not been mapped leads along above the Langenstein. Over a Rosselhalde you reach the rock, which can be climbed over narrow ledges, but on which it already goes down violently. So be careful on the rock!

Hiking
You can climb on the rocks. From the mountain side, go right up the moss-covered rock until you come to the foot of the actual “rock needle”. You then climb this (unsecured) through a kind of “intersection” (pay attention to the footstep under the ledge right at the beginning). At the “summit” there is an old abseiling ring and a modern bolt. Carrying a rope for abseiling is a much safer option.
