Here in part of the Franconian Forest you walk along the steady lapping of the Inde. This part, like the Klauser Forest, is designated as a nature reserve.
Here you will find a beech forest that has a population of very old trees. The trees that fall over in a storm are mostly left lying around because they cannot be transported away and this in turn creates a natural environment for flora and fauna.
