The townspeople once fled from the plague and the Swedes and built a settlement with a stone chapel (1632) near the Möser Bridge. The brick chapel in which St. Anne and St. Joachim were worshipped stood until 1800. Not far from this chapel, a wooden chapel was built in the 18th century, which was first mentioned in 1745. In the 19th century, a new one was built, called the "Wooden Chapel", which is dedicated to the patron saint of shepherds and animals, Wendelin. The furnishings included the late Gothic figures of St. Sebastian and Rochus, which are now on display in the parish church of Immenstadt. Today, there is a wooden figure and votive pictures of St. Wendelin inside.
