Hiking Highlight

Tips

  • Jürgen Hild

A ladder of around twelve meters shortens the climb to the summit cross. Those who are afraid of heights and do not dare to climb this rather high ladder should rather continue on the normal route. This leads to the right, underneath the steep cliffs and then leads up to the summit in a left curve without problematic points.

if you have the courage, the ladder should do the ab / rise. Pure adrenaline .... bet? :)

I'm just saying ... LADDER !!!! Little adrenaline kick that you could decide for, but you do not have to. Can you handle it too?

High but feasible. Outside is just longer but also nice.

Steep but doable. Without a backup, but the exit is very easy.

For all mountain hikers who are free from giddiness, the ascent via the summit ladder to Steineberg is a small highlight. If you do not want to use the ladder, you can alternatively choose another route to the summit.

The view from the Steineberg is fantastic! The ladder up to the summit is fun, but you should be sure-footed and not be afraid of heights.
