The driveway from Immenstadt is paved throughout, most of that from Gunzesried as well. At the mountain station you have a fantastic view over the Allgäu and there is a kiosk.

The mountain station at noon is a perfect starting point for tours in the Nagelfluhkette or in the Gunzesrieder valley.
Anyone who knows the Mittaggipfel (including the cozy summit hut) from the past and has enjoyed its tranquility, is to say the least frightened about the massive expansion that took place there. No place to feel good anymore.
