Erm, dead end. It's definitely worth a walk to the Sachsenhöhle, although it's not really a cave, more of a bulge in the rock. But it's a beautiful location nonetheless. It's a great place to take a break before the next arduous kilometer of walking awaits hikers.
A little tip: the actual footpath to the Carolafelsen is to the "right" of the Sachsenhöhle, a little further up. To get to it, just walk back about 300 meters and then turn left onto a small forest path.
