From the hill above Jossa, the two railway lines, here almost parallel for a few kilometers, and especially their bridges, can be clearly seen.

On the right is the historic stone viaduct that spans the mouth of the Jossa brook into the Sinn. It is part of the Fulda-Main Railway, which went into operation in 1873 and which was one of the most important north-south railway lines in Germany until 1988. Today it is mainly used for freight traffic and some regional passenger trains between Schlüchtern and Gemünden.

On the left, beyond the Sinntalwiesen, you can see the concrete slope bridge of the high-speed highway Hanover - Würzburg, which went into operation in 1988 and over which ICE traffic runs in north-south direction today.
