Road cycling
The asphalt rolls well and the traffic is moderate (but it can get busy at rush hour). Especially at the weekend it is a great alternative to the heavily trafficked goat back.

For me, the "Tiefe Grund" is often the destination of my journeys from Dresden and in both directions. Usually somewhere between the Elbe Cycle Path and the old railway embankment. I definitely prefer the saddle of goat.
