On the opposite bank you can clearly see the castle mouse on the slopes of the Rhine Valley. Originally, the fortress was originally called Burg Thurnberg, but when the enemy Count von Katzenelnbogen built an even larger castle in the immediate vicinity, they called the two castles nothing but cat and mouse.
The castle mouse was never destroyed and is still in great condition today.
