Pasture Beck rises in Threshthwaite Cove below Stony Cove Pike. It flows north, down the Pasture Beck Valley to join Hayeswater Gill which flows down the valley into Ullswater. There is a nice path up the valley which is a good steady alternative to the steeper paths onto the ridgelines.
The Pasture Beck Skyline is one of the classic Lake District walking routes, starting in Hartsop and looping the valley.
