In 1767 Jobst Anton von Hinüber had the park laid out in Marienwerder. Since 1987 he is a listed building.
On the other side, the garden has been designed as a tour that is intended to depict the life of a Masonic from apprentice to master. This initiation way is still accessible today. Visitors are drawn to the pillars of humanity, namely tolerance, brotherhood, equality and freedom - through works of art or panels of meaning.
In the meantime not only numerous bird species live here. Bats, deer and beavers have also settled in the park.

The Hinübersche Garten in Hannover is one of the earliest landscaped gardens in Germany. It is located in the district Marienwerder in the northwest of the city. The hiking and cycling path Grüner Ring leads through the garden

The Hinübersche Garten in Marienwerder, like the Wörlitzer Anlagen or Goethe's Park on the Ilm in Weimar, is one of the earliest landscaped gardens in Germany.

Here you can take a wonderful break. Also not as crowded as many other places on this tour.
