The Our rises in the eastern Ardennes and the western Eifel on Belgian territory. Its source is in the municipality of Büllingen near the Losheimergraben district in the north-northwest and the Eichelsberg (653 m) in the south at an altitude of about 643 m. The federal highway 265 leads past, and the Kyllquelle is 300 m north-north-west.
