The forest will provide you with protection for tonight. Make yourself comfortable, because your way leads in one direction only: uphill to the John Gardener Pass at 1,200 meters. From this campsite you can also take a detour to the Puma Glacier.The facilities are very simple: toilet, cold showers and a supermarket for the bare necessities. Please fire only at the hobs. Spent a very damp cramped Christmas here. Facilities are a bit spartan but that is what it is all about!
