In the Tor der Peine you will find an impressive mountain range. The Cueros Grande is the highlight with its three peaks, the Torres. The color difference between the base of the mountain and the top of the mountain is particularly exciting. Below you can see solid granite and above with a clearly defined edge the tip made of slate. As a result, the mountain has a black top. Cueros means horn.
