You can go down to the bay, but I thought it was not worth going, and it was confirmed by a lady I met along the trail who had just gone up from there. So I just stayed on the ridge/mountain pass with the view of the lakes on each side.

Day 4 was supposed to be a day to go up Hermanndalstinden, but it was raining, so I just stayed inside my tent all day.

I had to walk through the trail to Forsfjord from Vindstad as the ferry crew did not want to drop us off in Forsfjord. The trail from Vindstad starts off easy and mellow, then becomes increasingly more difficult due to the large boulders, especially under the waterfall.

Good thing I decided to do this instead of the tourist trail. It's a fun climb especially along the ridge between the Saddle and North Goatfell with all the scrambling opportunities. Although it might not be a good idea to do this if the rocks along the ridge are wet. The Stacach ridge between North Goatfell and Goatfell also has some scrambling opportunities but if you are already tired of scrambling or not that confident with it, you can avoid the large boulders along the way by finding easier trails on the side. And going down from Goatfell along the tourist trail can become monotonous, although you then walk within a forest which gives the all needed shade from the sun.
