As soon as De Oersprong museum is allowed to reopen its doors, visitors can experience how big the mammoth really was. A life-size mammoth, 320 cm high, has recently been depicted in two dimensions.

DIKE MAGAZINE built as an emergency warehouse shortly after 1871 by order of the polder district by JAN HENDRIK VAN BERGHEM HZ. The dike warehouse was built with reused materials from the previously demolished old warehouse from 1841. The warehouse is located on the outer dike side of the Waalbandijk in Waardenburg. The dike warehouse was a storage place for emergency materials such as brushwood, poles and stones that were used in emergency situations. In 1994, the warehouse was restored by order of the polder district of Tieler- en Culemborgerwaarden. In 1997, the interior was made suitable as an exhibition and reception area.
