Galloway cattle owes its name to the county of the same name in Scotland. This polled beef with excellent meat quality was selected there a few hundred years ago.

This portion of the path will take you along an "open" meadow where Galloway cows graze peacefully in complete freedom, you will sometimes see them in the middle of the path.
Do not worry, this breed from Scotland, is known to be very docile.
They are adorable with their black fleece and all curly. The calves are lighter, their coat is rather brownish.
This breed is hornless.
