The beautiful reconstruction together with the information board explain the structure and function of the ring wall on Donnersberg. A hiking trail was laid out on the ring wall itself, which leads directly up to the Königsstuhl, the highest place in the Palatinate.

"The construction of this last wall [= intermediate wall] reduced the size of the late Celtic city by about a third of its settlement area. [...]
In 2010, this section of the wall was archaeologically excavated, then the rhyolite stones were carefully removed, then stacked back up true to the original and secured at the back with mortar and concrete.This means that the original find can now be seen at this point, as it was hidden in the Celtic wall for 2000 years."Source (quoted verbatim): Information board on site ("Restored wall in the intermediate wall")
