Kvernufoss is a beautiful, but lesser known waterfall in the south of Iceland, near the Skogafoss waterfall. This 50-meter-high waterfall is located just 1 kilometer from Skogafoss and is often missed by tourists. Kvernufoss is a hidden gem located on private property, tucked into a small gorge. The special thing about this waterfall is that, just like at Seljalandsfoss, you can walk behind the waterfall.
