Hiking
Perched at 1,400 meters above sea level, it is an excellent base camp for hiking. From the refuge, access to 2,000 meter peaks such as Glittertinden, Nautgardstinden, Memurutinden and Trollsteineggje is easy.
The refuge offers accommodation and catering. As a precaution, in high season, do not hesitate to book to ensure a place.

As usual for mountain huts, the food is quite expensive. For once, after a long, cold, wet day of hiking, we treated ourselves to it - and we weren't disappointed. There was a wide buffet of regional dishes. From freshly baked bread to fresh salmon and reindeer tongue (^^).
