Here the trail leads through muddy marshes and lush meadows along the lake Russvatnet. It lies in a wonderfully secluded valley, on the sunny side (the opposite bank lies in the constant shadow of the upcoming peaks) wild flowers and all sorts of mosses thrive. A feast for the eye. Again, keep some dry socks ready for after.
