The Tartines rocks constitute one of the major natural sites of the Ourthe valley. There you can admire a very beautiful succession of calcicole vegetation ranging from pioneer lichen groups to beech forests, including pale fescue lawns, xeric and mesophilic lawns, thermophilic hems with common cottoneaster, etc. The bottom of the slope is in besides occupied by a very important limestone tuff sheltering a specific bryophytic flora. The fauna, and in particular the entomofauna, is certainly very rich but does not seem to have been studied recently.
