Feitscheslay – Rodersschluff – Alkummer Rock Formations Trail

Near this beautiful section of the trail there is a small car park with around 3 parking spaces overlooking the Sauer. After a few metres on the cycle path you can follow the signs for the Müllertal Trail along the slope. Although there are not many metres of elevation to overcome, the section is quite strenuous due to the ups and downs along the rocks. Very beautiful path, rocks and rock faces. When you reach the Alkummer rock formation, you can go back on a parallel path or, for example, continue to follow the edge of the rock towards Rosport. One-way routes are also possible, as bus transport in Luxembourg is free and runs regularly (cfl.lu/de-de/timetable). There is a pedestrian bridge near Steinheim-Minden and bridges near Echternach and Rosport.

This route can also be easily hiked by starting in Rosport and walking to Echternach to the bus station and then taking bus 485 Grevenmacher back to Rosport. This is a 9-10 km route, about 2 hours walking time.
