Neuborn Spring

This is where the Neuborn stream rises. With its many branches it is an ideal, natural water playground.

There are numerous sources in the Neuborn. The Neuborn Bach, for example, has its source here. The entire forest area is a water protection area. The fountain with its cascades, also a source, was often defective in 2006–2009, but was repaired in 2010 and now feeds the largest tributary of the Neuborn stream again. The pond, which is fed by the spring and provides a spawning area for common frogs, also suffered from the defects of the spring. In 2010, thanks to a donation from the building yard, it was enriched with some aquatic plants such as the marsh marigold, but a few years later it was destroyed by strangers and not restored.
