The base plate above the foundation is 266.7m above sea level. Going over the 72 external steps 4.48m high, then continue on the inner spiral staircase, you reach the observation deck with crenellated edge in 284.47m above sea level. The spiral staircase is protected by a rain shelter, which at 289m above sea level gives the highest point. Source: lonsheim.net
