Impressive tower with seating for resting. The narrow building with its 72 steps, which was built in 1904 in honor of the participants of the Franco-German War, has established itself as a landmark of Lonsheim. It is open day and night and offers a great view over the Rhenish Hessian hills

Here you can have a very nice rest - even with a larger group - insert.

You can make out 20 towns if you climb this lookout tower on the Hemm! The floor slab above the foundation is 266.7m above sea level. If you go up the 72 external steps 4.48m high, then continue on the internal spiral staircase, you will reach the observation deck with a crenellated edge at 284.47m above sea level. The spiral staircase is protected by a rain roof, which is the highest point at 289m above sea level. Source: lonsheim.net
Directly at the foot of the tower there are plenty of benches and tables, plus a large shelter and a barbecue.

Another nice place to take a break. We couldn't get to the tower, it was closed in March 2020 and, according to the internet, it still is.

Nice place with a lookout tower. There are many tables with benches on the area in front of the tower. There is also a nice refuge

Relatively flat, nice view towards the arm germ, resting opportunities in the sun and shade available, can be extended towards the ghost mill

Around the high tower is a small park with plenty of seating and a relatively large hut that offers protection from the sun and storms. The tower is always open, once you have reached the platform you have a wonderful view.

The ghost mill is located directly on the left side of the road and across the street is the parking lot and thus the entry point for this hiking route
