The artificial ditch disappears back into the rock at the Buchenbornrösche and continues underground. A path to the "Kroatenstein" branches off to the right. The memorial stone commemorates Lorenz von Schönberg, who died when the Reinsberg Castle was conquered by the Austrians in 1632. What an architectural masterpiece.
