In my opinion, there are only a few towns in Bergisch that have a pedestrian zone that has so much charm and breathes that typical Bergisch flair. In the immediate vicinity I can only think of Remscheid-Lennep. A gem, both for shopping, who still loves retail and small specialty shops, as well as for lingering or with regard to gastronomy. And you can also cross part of Schwelm by bike very nicely here.
