Like the Way of the Cross, Mary's Way of Faith is laid out as a special place of reflection. In the wayside shrines made of Ruhr sandstone in 1926, fourteen representations from the life of Mary can be viewed since 1982 - painted by Egon Stratmann, Hattingen - for Father Walter Kromer MSC, the former pastor of Stiepel, who wrote the meditations.
