The 32 meter high water tower in Graal-Müritz was erected in 1913 under the direction of master builder Wilhelm Piehl, who later became an honorary citizen of the community. The tower supplied the town with drinking water until 1988. Its capacity was around 150 cubic meters. Today the tower is privately owned.
