Best Hikes to "Wild-Weibchens-Ley" cave

Tips

  • This is a magical place that I always love to return to. My grandmother, who lives in Nauroth, always tells me about the wild female who lived in the rock cave and came to the village to sell medicinal herbs and to do sewing work. The area is rich in slate. This once formed a cave here, which unfortunately collapsed. Right next to it is a small stream that flows completely over flattened slate slabs. The last time I visited, I almost stepped on a grass snake here - we were both very frightened.

  • Here, where the "Wild Woman" lived according to old legends, you will find a cave with rugged rock formations made of slate. A lovely place for a little rest.

  • If you crawl through the narrow cave, you will find on the other side of a beautiful rest area to linger or meditate.
