Hiking

A beautiful and very promising mountain trail takes you from Waischenfeld up to the Aukapelle above Nankendorf. It houses an impressive baroque painting altar from 1815. Also a wonderful copy of Our Lady by Lukas Cranach. And the ancient linden trees under which it stands offer hikers protection for their well-deserved rest.

Hiking

The chapel contains a wonderful copy of Our Lady by Lukas Cranach. In addition, around 1920, many votive tablets and wax structures adorned the chapel as visible witnesses to the help they received. At that time the Madonna was worshiped as miraculous and many oppressed flowed to the small sanctuary.
