Normally walkable and drivable again after long construction work. The bottom of the northern part of the bridge is also worth seeing.

under the bridge, on the Nijmegen side, is a terrace, Opoe Stientje.
The road surface remained bumpy after the renovation of about 1980, you can feel it in the car. The renovation of that time resulted in a lot of traffic jams.
The arch was often climbed by youth in the past. Dangerous.
From the east and west you can see and recognize the bridge from afar. Until the bridge at Ewijk (A50) over the Waal was opened, all traffic went over the Waalbrug in Nijmegen. The bridge at Ewijk has also been doubled again from 2 x 2 to 2 x 4 lanes. The bridge in Nijmegen feels a bit narrow for the modern car driver.
A little further in Nijmegen, on the Traianusplein is a statue of a soldier waving a flag. He would have prevented it blowing up at the end of the war.
