In the 13th century, Pfannenstiel Castle was built on a ridge near the valley of the Bära and the Danube. The facility lay on a rock ridge. It consisted of a bailey, a residential tower, a courtyard and a moat. Few of the foundations have survived to this day. The outer walls of the residential tower have remained, some of which are several meters high. Pfannenstiel Castle is dangerous, there are many unsecured chasms!
