Tips
From the Kranichplatz observation post you have a good view of the bird biotope. This shallow water area, overgrown with reeds and willows, was created in 1982 when the meadows were flooded. After an expansion in 2014, it now measures around 38 hectares. Large areas only dry out in summer.
