Hiking

In 1723, the people of Ittersbach asked the Margrave of Baden for permission to build a community brick hut. The application also states that this would probably reduce the risk of fire due to the thatched roofs and that the "impoverished situation", as it was hoped, could be "changed". In the same year, the Ittersbachers' request to build a brickworks was approved. The Old Brickworks is now the oldest surviving industrial building in the municipality of Karlsbad.
