Schlemmin Castle was built in 1846 - 1850 on the foundations of a 14th-century water castle. For this purpose, the client, landlord Wilhelm Ulrich von Thun, hired the archdeacon Eduard Knoblauch from Berlin. The castle includes a 200,000 m² public park with over 50 different trees, including 700 centenarian oaks. On 4 km of walking paths you can roam the park and admire the seasonal flowers and the kitchen garden.
The castle is today a hotel with various restaurants.

The park is beautifully landscaped, the castle from the outside very nice.

A magical castle with a hotel and restaurant. Excellent food and a spacious park. A good base or stopover in Schlemmin. The park is freely accessible to everyone and invites you to linger.
