Ruins of Biesow Fieldstone Houses

"Former village" is not really true. Biesow is a collection of less than two dozen houses in the picturesque Blumenthalforst and part of the municipality of Prötzel.
A narrow road leads to Biesow, which branches off from the L337 road to Tiefensee approx. 1.0 km after Prötzel. After approx. 5.0 km (partly cobblestone) you reach the place. However, the approach by car is a bit "tricky". Just under 2.0 km from the site there is a "forest path" sign that generally prohibits further travel. The Biesower itself, however, a so-called "emergency right of way", this also applies to visitors of the residents as well as supply and disposal vehicles.

Small, cute village with beautiful fieldstone houses. Definitely worth seeing.
