The St. Bavo Church dates from 1889 and is built in neo-Romanesque style in the shape of a cross basilica. The church is a creation of master builders C. Wever from Roermond. The concept of the west façade included two towers on either side of the main entrance that reached to the sidelines. Lack of resources has meant that both towers are only built up to wall height. (Reproduced from ANWB plaque on the church).

The Sint - Bavokerk, is the Catholic parish church in the village of Ramsdonk with its 2,190 inhabitants, counted in 2007.
The church was built in 1888.
The village Raamsdonk, a beautiful typical farming village, belongs to the municipality Gertruidenberg and is located in the province of Noord-Brabant.

The Sint Bavokerk, designed by architect Carl Weber from Roermonden, is considered a highlight in his oeuvre. It is a cross basilica in neo-Romano-Gothic style. Characteristic is the high dome that appears somewhat disproportionate. This is due to the fact that the two west towers, originally provided for, were never completed due to lack of funds, and only extend as far as the cornice of the nave; the imposing dome is 53 meters high and is crowned with a bell lantern
