An old creek with ever the tides of ebb and flow. This watercourse originated in the past before the construction of the A27 in the Oosterhout hamlet of Heikant and now runs between the Dommelbergen district and the A27 as a measly little water to the north and then flows through the Oranjepolder in the far north into the Donge. A deed from 1749 shows that a duck decoy was once located here on the south side of the Kromgat.
