Here paper and rags were boiled, shredded, stamped and beaten through.
The resulting pulp was processed into paper.
In 1903, in the meantime expanded to an oil mill with two grinding courses, when the ditch emerged from the forest mill, a restaurant with bath cells and a dance floor was attached to it. The "natives of Küblingens" still fondly remember enjoyable hours on, but also "next to", the dance floor.
