A lateral drainage of the Badenburger lake into the "Teufelsbach" was designed as a rock source in the forest. On the rocks lie the Greek shepherd god Pan and a goat in the cool shadow of dark yew trees - the hurried walker easily overlooks them. This fits in with Pan, the wild god of the forest and nature.
Design by Peter Simon Lamine 1815, who repeats his own motif from the castle park in Schwetzingen. The Pan group is the only garden staffing from the phase in which F.L.v. Sckell landscaped the Nymphenburger Park.
