Hiking
Munich does not exactly have the soil and climate where rhododendrons feel particularly comfortable. However, they thrive comparatively lushly in the Botanical Garden because the gardeners have used all their knowledge and made all sorts of efforts. Over 200 species and varieties can be found. A visit is naturally particularly worthwhile during the flowering season in May and June.
The rhododendron grove transitions to the west into the fern gully, crisscrossed by a small stream.
